FAQ
- Is YingTu free?
- You can try it for free. The first 500 new users who sign in with Gmail get $0.1 of credit for 30 days, enough for about 1–5 Seedream, Nano Banana or GPT Image images (not layer decomposition or video). After that, add your own LaoZhang API key and pay per image.
- How much does one image cost?
- Between $0.018 and $0.09. Seedream 5.0 Flash is $0.018, Nano Banana 2 Lite $0.025, GPT Image 2 VIP and GPT Image 2.5 Flare / Sunburst $0.03, Nano Banana 2 $0.055 and Nano Banana Pro $0.09. There is no subscription; LaoZhang bills each image separately.
- Is YingTu an official Google or OpenAI product?
- No. YingTu is an independent studio that calls these models through the LaoZhang API. Nano Banana models are Google Gemini image models and GPT Image models use an OpenAI-compatible Images API; prices and availability follow LaoZhang.
- Does YingTu support 4K?
- Yes, on some models. Nano Banana 2 and Nano Banana Pro go up to 4K, GPT Image 2 VIP and 2.5 offer 30 exact sizes from 1K to 4K, Seedream 5.0 Flash tops out at 2K, and Nano Banana 2 Lite is fixed at 1K.
- Can I edit an existing image?
- Yes. Upload up to 5 reference images (20MB each) and describe the change; all 7 image models support reference edits. Check faces, logos and text at full size before you use the result.
- Where are my API key and images stored?
- In your own browser. Your API key is kept in local storage and your generation history in IndexedDB; YingTu servers do not save your key or keep a cloud history. Google sign-in creates a session and stores your account ID, name, email and avatar to issue the free credit.
- What is layer decomposition?
- It splits one image into a filled-in background plus transparent PNG layers for elements such as text, people and products. Only Seedream 5.0 Flash supports it. Each output image costs $0.018, usually 6–17 images or about $0.1–0.3 per run, and you download a ZIP of PNGs, not a PSD.
- Can I make videos on YingTu?
- Yes. Seedance 2.0 / 2.5 and Wan 2.7 each have their own video studio. They need your own LaoZhang key for that model group, are billed by usage and are not covered by the free credit.

YingTu is operated by YINGTU TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD., a company in Singapore.
It is a browser studio built on the LaoZhang API (laozhang.ai). Generations go to LaoZhang, which bills them per image; top-ups and invoices are handled on laozhang.ai. Your API key stays in your browser.
